MEETING UPDATE
The November meeting was held with 14 members present and 1 guest. We discussed the Fun Run to be held in June and will keep the price the same--$8.00 per person, Judy will submit it to the GWTA magazine for publication. Chapter election for director was held and Barry Frum is our new director for 2009. We also discussed adopting a family for Christmas and will be doing it for this year.

ADOPT A FAMILY FOR CHRISTMAS
We have decided to adopt a family for the Christmas season. This family is from Co. Bluffs and has 2 children who are physically handicapped. Karen has volunteered to wrap all the gifts. We can deliver the gifts to the family ourselves or appoint one of the members to do this.

The chapter is purchasing a $100 gift card from
a local grocery store for them.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Christmas party will be held on December 6 at 11AM at the Golden Corral restaurant in Co. Bluffs. We will have a party room on the east side. Grab bag gifts of $5-10, men buy for men and women buy for women. The chapter will be paying for the meal.

DINNER RIDE
The first dinner ride in 2009 will be on January 3 at the Bluffs China Buffet, 1702 W. Broadway in Co. Bluffs. Meet there at noon.
EDITORS NOTES
We were to the Toga Party picture (below) in Grand Island this past month and had a fun time, saw lots of different togas. Weeven dressed up and my husband made quite the warrior with his knee length toga and motorcycle boots!! It was too cold for us to use the bike, but that's why we have the 4-wheel vechiles. Most of the bikes have been put
away for the season, but there were 2 brave riders in Grand Island, one of which came from Lincoln-looked like a COLD ride to me.
Thansgiving is almost here and so the countdown to Christmas has started for many families. It hardly seems possible to me that this year is almost over. Our country is having many problems right now and we hope for a much better year in 2009.
We had our last meeting of the year last Saturday and now have a new chapter director, congrats go to Barry & Phyliss Frum. Thanks went to our previous chapter director, Darrell Peters, for doing
a good job.
Our Christmas party is right around the corner, on Dec 6, and is always a fun time. This year we plan to be in Phoenix visiting our son, so we will miss it-unless the weather changes our mind. I'm hoping for good weather as it has been a long time since we have seen them.
There will be no meeting in December and so the next time we will all be together is in January on the third at the Bluffs China Buffet at noon. They always have good food and you're welcome to join us.
Darrell is busy in his shop getting Christmas gifts ready and I'll soon be baking and doing cards. We want to wish all of you a
