Greetings to all members and friends, hope this finds everyone well. As we can tell cold weather is upon us all. Our warm love of bikes and hot exhaust pipes just wasn’t enough to keep old mr. Freeze from visiting us.
Well as many of us have now winterized our bikes and prepared for the long sleep of winter we look back at all the times we have spent riding. The people we have seen again, the people we met for the first time, all those miles we have logged on our bikes, and still think of all the miles we wish we could have logged. The many places we have seen and the many more we long to see, maybe next year?
The variety of bike events this year was plentiful, and we only hope next year will hold even more choices and fun to be had by all.
Now on to the important stuff for the chapter!!!!
First things first Nov. 22nd, we will have a meeting at 4pm at Jeff and Sally’s house, address is 21244 141st street, Perry, Iowa. This will be a short meeting to discuss the winter activities we want to do, and also take care of chapter business such as officers being elected. Discuss what members would like to do to get more out of their memberships and our chapter. And also membership renewals, I’m sure there will be other things to talk about as well. If you need to come after this time contact me. The idea is to meet early so we can go get a bite to eat or at least get everyone on their way home at a good timely matter.
This summer has sure had it adventures, but its down falls as well. With the accidents our chapter members have had it sure brings safety in my mind to a new level. I wish all those members my best wishes to recover from injuries and damages. Furthermore wish a better summer next year for you all.
Our chapter has had 3 memberships expire, and has 4 more to expire at the end of this month. You still have time to re-new if your membership has expired or about to. Please check your membership cards for your dates. This is one topic for the meeting. And always remember you get the monthly magazine, these great newsletters, and time spent with friends as an added benefit to your memberships.
