This tour is to be done at your leisure. Take your camera and take in the sites,
maybe stay over at some sites if you can. I hear that the night sightings can be thrilling,
chilling, and interesting.

Site #1
Abbie Gardner Cabin
Arnolds Park, Dickinson County
Directions: From Hwy. 71 in Arnolds Park turn towards Arnolds Park Amusement
Park. The site is one block west of the park.

Abbie Gardner Cabin was Iowa's first tourist attraction.
The site is haunted by the ghost of Abbie who was kid-napped by Native
Americans.

Kate Shelley Memorial Bridge
Boone, Boone County
Directions: from Boone go north on Marion street past 11th street to 198th Road.
Turn left on 198th onto the blacktop road. It will lead you to the bridge. Follow the

The bridge Kate saved is haunted by her ghost. A dim lantern has been spotted
floating along the tracks.

Rainbow Bridge
Lake City, Calhoun County
Directions: From 175 W (Main Street) turn left on Rainbow Road. At the “T” turn
right on 65th Street. Take the first left on Lberia Avenue. When you cross the bridge
the Rainbow Bridge will be on the right.

Directions: From Argyle Street, turn onto Bluff Street. Turn right onto “P” Street
and stay to the right on Mt. Lookout Road.

Unknown weeping has been heard at the memorial and a mysterious woman has
been seen at the foot of the statues.
